City Of Kewanee "Shall the corporate authorities of the City of Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois be authorized to levy a Non-Home Rule Municipal Retailers' Occupation Tax and a Non-Home Rule Service Occupation Tax (commonly known as a "municipal sales tax") at the rate of .5% for expenditure on public infrastructure and municipal operations for transportation purposes (streets, sidewalks, storm drainage, lighting, as well as other adjacent uses) such tax to take effect on July 1, 2024, or as soon thereafter as permitted by law, and ending on June 30, 2034."
